Here's the deal: there are two types of donations.
There's the Full Contribution option, which means 100% of the money you contribute will go to Bots High Documentary, LLC, and will go straight toward making the film. However, this type of donation is not tax deductible.
If you'd like your donation to be tax deductible, then there's the tax deductible option. Here's the catch. Because this project is an LLC and not a non-profit, we've teamed up with Documentary Educational Resources, a non-profit organization that has taken on Bots High as fiscal sponsor. So that means your donation goes to them, earmarked for Bots High, and then they'll give us your donation, minus an 8% administrative fee.
So if you could care less about having a tax deductible contribution, then choose option one. If not, then go with option two. Either way your generosity will be extremely helpful.
